Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What should I do if my local drama society wants to produce one of my plays? Can I ask them for a fee?
A. One of PANZ’s main objectives is ensuring that our members are treated professionally. We say that if your play is good enough for the drama group to produce and charge an admission, then it is only right that you are paid the regular fee. It would be professional for you to state this in the first instance, not wait till after the performance is over. The fee for a full length play should be 10% of the door takings, and for a one act play $40 for each performance.
